Heavenly Father,

On this solemn All Souls Day, I come before You with a heavy heart, but also with gratitude for the time I shared with my departed loved ones. I light this candle as a symbol of the light they brought into my life, and I offer this prayer in their memory.

I pray for my late brother, whose presence I still feel in my heart, for my late grandparents, who shared their wisdom and love, and for my late cousins, uncles, and aunts who were like extended family. I remember all my late friends and loved ones, who enriched my journey with their presence.

May You, O Lord, embrace their souls with Your infinite love and grant them eternal peace. Let them find solace in Your divine presence and bask in the warmth of Your grace.

As I light this candle, I also ask for strength and courage to carry on their legacies, to cherish the memories we created together, and to find comfort in the knowledge that one day, we shall be reunited in Your heavenly kingdom.

Please guide me, dear Heavenly Father, to live a life that honors their memory and the lessons they imparted. May Your light shine upon them, as this candle’s flame does now.
